Our sixteenth annual retro holiday celebration will be held at the former family home of architect Robert Hausner (built in 1954). It was featured in Chicago Bauhaus and Beyond’s Rizolli book, Julius Shulman: Chicago Mid-Century Modernism (starting on page 77). Sited on the bank of the Des Plaines river in Riverwoods, the home exudes serenity in its Asian/modern simplicity.  The home, when photographed, was owned by Ann (Ann Nathan Gallery) and Walter Nathan.  A shuttle will be provided from a location near the home, as there is no parking available at the house. Paid members have already received an email invitation from Punchbowl – space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible. If you are a paid member and did not receive this, please let us know.
