Ralph Anderson House Tour
Lincolnshire
June 26, 2011

The architect's daughter and CBB member Robin Mahaffey of RAM Architecture planned our visit to these unique 1960's-era homes, including refreshments served in the garden at the last house. Mid-century design details include post and beam construction, natural common brick and exposed aggregate concrete. Entry to the homes progress through landscaped courtyards, providing privacy from the street. Vaulted rooflines punctuate horizontal elevations with strong geometric forms.
