Hyde Park/Kenwood Modernism Tour
Part 1 - Walking tour of Hyde Park modernist buildings

Thanks to everyone for a great modernist day in Hyde Park/Kenwood! We couldn't have asked for better weather and company. We are particularly grateful to the homeowners who welcomed us so graciously and shared their knowledge of the architectural history of their homes. We were able to visit many of the modernist highlights of the area, both residences and University buildings, and the wonderful guided tour of the Smart Museum of Art exhibition on ceramics and sculpture from 1880-1980. We ended the day at a festive cocktail party at the Y.C. Wong-designed atrium townhouse belonging to CBB member Lawrence Converso.
