October 19 & 20, 2009 - Julius Shulman Film

Visual Acoustics is a remarkable film about the legendary modernist architectural photographer Julius Shulman. Although Shulman, who passed away this year, is known for his iconic photographs of California modernism, he photographed 14 modern homes in the Chicago area for an upcoming book to be published this spring by Rizzoli. This project was organized and produced by Gary Gand and Chicago Bauhaus and Beyond. The film will make its Chicago area debut - and it is a MUST SEE!!!
